First Appointment

I've just turned 41. I've got friends whose kids are already grown!

I've always been ambivalent about children -- I wouldn't be trying at all if I hadn't finally found a great guy. I do feel like I'll be missing out a bit if it doesn't happen, but our life is pretty sweet as is.

Oh, okay.  Definitely not old but in fertility age, upper end. 

A friend successfully conceived at 43.  It does happen.  Thankfully my friends are all old with me (I'm 38).  I was second youngest in my NCT group.  Most people are older these days.  But yes, I have high school friends who's children have graduated high school.  My son turned 2 on Saturday. 

There also is always a shortage of fosters, so if natural means fails and you do want a family I encourage looking into it. Lots of kids need stable loving families
