You guys are so lucky, I'm totally jelous.  I told everyone at work that I would pay them £5 if they voted Lib Dem as a joke.  Later, one guy came up and told me he voted Lib Dem because of me!  He's a Modhi voter and rabid Hindu fundamentalist  so I'm not sure I understand why, but whatever.

* Married in the US and applied for first spousal visa August 2013
* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019

Is this enough to change your mind about becoming a citizen?   Voting is so important!   :)

I really think he did it just to please me, even though he's a Trump supporter. 
I've been working closely with a few Indians and sitting at the Indian table for lunch.  Ladies, be extra thankful you weren't born in India.

I'd like to vote here but make do by donating money or going on protest marches.  Citizenship is becoming more appealing since the UK is getting more crazy about foreigners living here. 

By the way, does anybody want to join me in protesting Trump's visit?  I'm taking the day off.  Can't decide if I want to be a steward again.  Nothing could top last year.
