Free summer camp anyone?
« on: June 18, 2019, 03:37:07 PM »

There's a really posh summer camp in Spain that does English language teaching. Half of the kids there are paying to learn English.  The other half go free, but have to speak English all of the time.  The place is like a resort hotel.

My 16 Year old daughter found out about this because a family friend did it and she's arranged the whole trip for her and her boyfriend to fly to Spain for a holiday at this place!

I couldn't even concieve of such a thing at 16.  How lucky are our kids?

That sounds like a really cool experience!

Is your daughter actually going or did she just plan out how it will work?? Is it expensive to go or does she qualify to go "for free" and only needs to pay for flights?

She is actually going, we've bought the flights and everything.  And she is taking her boyfriend.  They are both attending for free as "volunteers".  She's gone to France with a friend before so I am not so worried, but still, that kind of stuff certainly wasn't happening for me at 16.

What a fabulous experience!!!

If I could get my finger out of my nose at 16, that would have been a good start.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
