FLR(M)-Status Update After Submission?

Hi Everyone,

My Sopra Steria appointment was on the 4th of June and everything went smoothly.  Is there any way to check that my application has been submitted?  I logged into my Sopra Steria account and also the Visa application account but there is nothing to indicate that my application has been received.  In fact, it looks the same as when I had my appointment (i.e. I can still upload files, etc.).  For such an important step, I am surprised we don't get any kind of confirmation.  What if the person at Sopra Steria accidentally forgot to hit send?  Maybe I am overthinking this?

It’s horrible isn’t it. There is no confirmation and the website will act like you havent done anything. I think though if you look to purchase services you’ll see it’s greyed out.

It’s an issue they are aware of, see an email to my similar question.

Thanks for your email. You will not receive any confirmation from ourselves. Your application would have been submitted at the end of your appointment, unless stated otherwise. Once your Biometrics and supporting evidence have been submitted, UKVI will undertake the casework and make a decision. You will be advised of the decision within due course by UKVI. UKVCAS has no influence or information on applications once submitted, so we will be unable to respond to any status enquires. Alternatively, please contact them on 0300 123 2241. Please disregard your online UKVCAS account as we are aware of this issue, this will not hinder your application.
