Spouse Visa Processing Panic
« on: June 28, 2019, 06:43:20 PM »
I’m on WD 23 of Priority processing for the spouse visa and just having panic regarding our application. I’m going through all kinds of scenarios of what to do if we have another denial. We applied Cat F Owner of a Limited Company and even though we used Medivisias for guidance and a document check I’m still a nervous wreck because it’s such a complicated category.

My plan B is to go to Spain for a few months so that my husband and daughter can see each other more easily. If we are denied again would there be any use applying for a UK visitor visa? That would be 2 spouse visa denials and an entry clearance refusal last July. I feel like a visitor visa would immediately be denied but thought I should ask. We would consult Medivisas again as well. If  I’m denied again we won’t have the funds to reapply until January and honestly I’m terrified of applying as a Limited Company again but we have no choice. I’m just feeling helpless and it’s now been 16 months my daughter has been without her dad. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

I wouldn't say it would be outright absolutely impossible, but I highly suspect if the second application was also refused, a visitor visa would be decidedly difficult to obtain.

That being said, I know it's easy to say from my end, but try to take a deep breath and get your mind away from thinking about it and going in vicious circles about the what-ifs.  Fretting about it won't make a difference and will only negatively have an impact on YOU.  We have great faith in Medivisas, and I'm sure you've been steered in the absolute right direction.  :)  Hang in there!!

Exactly as the others have said.  I’ve never heard of Medivisas steering anyone wrong.  You chose wisely.  I don’t think you need a plan B.

But if you really needed one, I would start the UK to USA path.  You guys need to be a family on the same side of the ocean!

Thank you, everyone. The positive encouragement really helps. I’ll go down plan B scenarios if we ultimately have to and try to focus positive energy on a YES outcome. Having a child in this state of limbo is the hardest part. We’ll get there in the end! Thanks again for the support. I really needed it today.
