No more visa4uk?
« on: July 16, 2019, 03:07:37 PM »
So I heard since June the 15th, visa4uk will no longer be used and instead the gov.uk site will redirect you to the correct place to apply for the spouse visa, also I heard you can choose priority service through both the gov portal and the VFS one, so which one should I choose?

One major thing, a lot of people are having trouble with VFS if they used visa4uk for their app before the June change as the accounts don’t sync and they’re having huge problems booking appointments or uploading documents etc.

Do you any of you experts have any insight on any of these matter? Thankyou!

Don’t want to mess up our app.

This was recently asked in another recent thread:

With the new forms, do not use VFS global, as they are not suppose to be part of the process now as far as I am aware. If you wish to pay priority, you do so on the application form, and pay for it combined with the application.

I think with this change from the old forms to the new forms the UKVI Entry Clearance Officers are having to learn the new process as well, which from what I understand could be slowing things down.
I'm at 27 days, and I'm hoping that mine doesn't take too much longer.  Patience is starting to grow thinner.

I hope this helps.
