Eligibility for grants/paying for university?

I'm looking in to going back to university here (early planning stages) and wondered if I would be allowed to obtain grants/scholarships, etc.

I know we can't obtain any public funds but wasn't sure if there was any restriction on funding for post secondary education.

You'll have to check the fine print. Often for grants and loans you need to have "settled status", which as a spouse you won't have until you've lived here 5 years and receive ILR. But, there is always the possibility that on a case by case basis they can grant exceptions.

The funding rules are different depending on which country of the UK you are in. In Scotland, Settled Status (the 5 year thing) is usually the case, unless you are EU, when 3 years is the magic number.  The rules for undergrad v grad may also be different (as far as what is free and what is not).  As you are in Scotland, once you have residency, your tuition and fees (undergrad) should be almost nil.
