FLR (M)
« on: October 07, 2019, 02:04:00 PM »
Good Afternoon lovely people!

This will be an extension from my first FLR M they seem to be asking for 12 months of payslips and banking statements instead of 6 months like last time. Do I also have to get a letter from the bank stating these are true statements if I print them out? Also, it states to show evidence of living here for the past 2 years I’m not sure if I have any mail that goes that far back. What else could I do?  Is there another checklist I could have a look at? Do I need to do passport photos? Does all this have to be scanned in before my biometrics appointment? Thank you for all the help :)

Yes, it seems that the form always asks for 12 months now but if you are using category A, then the requirements are still for 6 months although most send 7 months worth to make sure they are covered.

It might be easier to have the bank print them out or if you have time, get them to send you originals but a letter is also an option, as is having them stamp every page of your copies if they will agree to that.

The mail is required for you and your husband. You need 6 joint or 12 individual pieces, or a combination of both of official mail. They must be from 3 or more different sources and be original and sent through the post. There is no alternative.

You also need to meet the accommodation requirement and provide marriage (and divorce if applicable) certificates.

Passport photos are no longer required and you either have to scan yourself or pay for that service before you attend an appointment

Thank you so much. I will see what I can find from my last visa application on the mail part. As for what part I was applying for it didn’t ask that. I think? It’s Category A which is solely my husbands finances. Just in case we will do 12 :) anything I should know before my biometrics appointment?

Thank you so much. I will see what I can find from my last visa application on the mail part.

You won't have mail from your last visa application to satisfy the two years of post.  This requirement isn't to prove you lived at your address... it is to prove that you and your sponsor/partner lived together continuously over the last 2.5 years, since your last visa was granted.  To prove this, you provide post addressed to both of you at the same address, spread out over the last two and a half years.  You need a total of six items for each of you (you can share items if it has both of your names on), they must be from 'official' sources like NHS, bank, utilities, government agencies, etc., and you need at least three unique sources.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

How long has your husband been at his current job, earning £18,600 or more? In order to meet Category A, he must have been in his job for AT LEAST 6 months, earning £18,600 for all of that time. So, in order to qualify for the visa today, 8th October, he must have been in his current job since at least 8th April 2019. But he also needs to provide at least 6 FULL months of payslips and bank statements from that job, which means he will need payslips from March through to September, so in that case, he will need to have been in the job since at least March.

If he can't meet this requirement, you will need to apply under Category B, and provide 12 full months of both payslips and bank statements, showing a TOTAL earnings of £18,600 or more over those 12 months, along with a CURRENT salary of at least £18,600 per year.

You mention in a previous post that he lost his job a while back, so if it's been less than 6 months since he got his new job, you won't qualify under Category A and will have to use Category B.

Also, I see that you applied for a fee waiver a few months ago - I assume that was approved when he wasn't working and was claiming benefits that meant he was exempt from meeting the financial requirement?  If he now has a job and is no longer claiming those benefits (and therefore is not exempt from the financial requirement anymore), you will no longer qualify for a fee waiver,  and will have to pay the full FLR(M) fee regardless (which means you won't qualify for a refund of the fee either).

He's had a job since last december. but they want 12 months of payslips stating on my checklist. he makes over the 18.600 and the fee waiver was approved before in April as he was receiving benefits within 12 months of the application. I couldn't use the fee waiver at the time as it was too early to send in my flr m and it expired within 10 days so they told me to reapply before my date is expired. No, I haven't even received anything from them this time it is now 9/10/2019 and they have had my application since the beginning of september and in april i got it within a week. I had to reach out to my mother in law to help with my flr m payment as i had the rental company saying they were ready to report me to the home office and arguing with me and suggesting i was lying. I have emailed the MP of my town and he has got in touch with the home office but no word yet. I don't have an income as i am sick and waiting for my kidney to be removed as it has no function at all so keeping up with the bills and saving wasn't going to happen with just my husbands pay. This has been very stressful to say the least.

So, to clarify, this is your timeline:

December 2018: husband/sponsor began working in his present job, making over £18,600pa

April 2019: you applied for a fee waiver based on husband having received benefits in the previous twelve months, and the waiver was approved within a week of your application.

April 2019: the fee waiver expired before you could use it because it was too soon for you to apply for your FLR(M).

September 2019: you re-applied for the fee waiver but have had no response to that application.

Question:
When did your husband last receive the qualifying benefits on which that last fee waiver application was approved?
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

What can I expect at biometrics appointment? I go on the 22nd of October. I can’t remember how many of each bill do I need to show I’ve been here for 2 years. I have hospital,GP,council tax, water bill and my phone bill, joint bank that are all sent to me and hubby. The rest is in hubbies name.

Thanks again for the help

You need six items in eavh name, sent to the same address in the same month for each recipient, on dates spread out evenly over the two years (so, one each every four months).  The items must be from at least three unique official sources (such as 4 bank statements, 1 council tax notice, and 1 water bill = 3 sources).  If an item has both of your names on it, you can share it for that month.
