Submitting ILR (SET(M)) application in advance
« on: November 29, 2019, 09:27:21 PM »
Hello!

My partner and I will soon be submitting the SET(M) form for ILR and paying the extortionate fee. I was wondering if there would be any harm in confirming a biometrics appointment for the future, but without having all of the forms I currently need to scan. What I mean by this is could I submit and book the appointment for say the 19th December, when I know I will receive the last form I need on the 11th December. So long as I scan that final form and upload it straight away, would this be acceptable? I just want to check if documents have to be uploaded within a certain date of booking the appointment. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Thank you.

All files need to be dated before the date you pay for your application as that's the application date, but if it's a bank statement you are waiting for you can have the bank print a partial statement to show the last paycheck being deposited before the end of month statement is issued.

Yes, it's exactly that! I just need a bank statement confirming November's pay has gone in, so a partial statement would totally do the trick. Thank you :D
