I received this information in an email from HMRC.

Do you know that HMRC have a new online customer forum where you can post questions on a range of tax topics that are answered by HMRC experts?

Anyone can view the forum. To post a question, simply register and create a profile – it’s that easy.

There’s also an extensive Knowledge Base, where you can find information on a number of subjects to help you with your tax matters.

I don't know how useful the forum will be in practice but it never hurts to have another resource.
