Flr-m mail questions
« on: December 08, 2019, 08:25:57 PM »
Hello experts!

Hard to believe but I am coming up on renewing my visa at the beginning of February. I landed in the uk August 24 2017, so by my calculations, the earliest I can apply is end of jan.

In preparation for this, I have started looking through our mail. This has raised a couple questions that I'm hoping someone can help me with?

1. I have loads of bank statements, but they don't have a mailing date on them! Just the dates that the time frame covers. Can I use those?
2. Can I use old payslips from a job I left ages ago?
3. Can we use our tenancy agreement?
4. What sort of months should we be looking at to cover the full two years. Will it be Feb 2018 - Jan 2020?
5. Can I use letters from my pension provider or personal health insurance?

I'm worried we won't have enough, I have quite a bit saved, but not sure if it will be useable!

Thank you in advance! Really not looking forward to going through this again :(

1-Yes. Use the last date in the date range . So for a statement which reads 16th Feb - 15th Mar, the 15th March would be the one you work from.
2- You could but I would avoid that if possible to avoid any confusion with the financial requirement. It sounds like you have more than 3 sources without using them.
3-Yes.
4-It's not an exact science but those dates would work.
5-Yes.

Im not the best person to answer most of your questions,  but i had the same question about bank statements as you. Are they the statements that have been automatically issued to you? Or do you call and order them? They sometimes differ. I have natwest and my automatically generated statements are on little sheets (a5 i think) with what looks like type writer print. But if I call and order statements, they come on A4 sheets. I have been advises that the latter wont count....at least for the financial evidence section. I would assume for mail as well, because you can order a transaction statement for any period at any time.

Anyway, if they are auto sent out, then I have been advised on here that the end date iof the statement counts as the date for the mail itself.
