What is or isn't evidence?
« on: December 22, 2019, 01:17:41 PM »
Just had to cancel a visit to my fiance this Christmas. What I am wondering is whether I should keep the emails for that flight, even though I didn't take the trip? Cos my thinking is that it proves intent and our ongoing relationship, even though I didn't go. Or is that obsolete because I didn't in the end?

I would not use them. Anyone could make and cancel a reservation.

Sorry you had to cancel your trip.

For this time frame message and call logs will matter, unfortunately I don't think a cancelled trip would. I'm sorry you won't get to see them for the holidays. :(

Sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip :(.

I agree with the others - the whole point of using flight tickets as evidence is to show that you ACTUALLY travelled to see each other and ACTUALLY spent time together.

But the only thing a cancelled booking shows is that you DIDN'T spend that time together... which won't help the application at all.
