LIUK
« on: January 27, 2020, 01:31:58 PM »
After something like 8 years intermittently lurking and posting here, it will finally be ILR time for me this September.

That said, I’ve been thinking about going ahead and getting the LIUK rest out of the way soon.

I did a search but couldn’t find many recent topics on it. Any tips?  I’m planning to get the recommended book but it might be helpful to know if I need to commit the whole thing to memory or not.

I recall many years ago there was a site that gave you free online practice tests. Does anyone know if that’s still around and up to date, and, if so, what it’s called?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It's a good idea to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.

Yes, buy the book and try to memorise as much as you can. There are dates and numbers that you just won't know. They do give ranges but that won't help unless you have a bit of a clue in the first place!

Just google life in the UK online practice tests, there are many websites. I preferred the ones which give you the correct answer if you get a question wrong, they don't all do that. Keep taking until you are consistently doing well.

I found the online tests very useful. I also studied the whole book, but did the online tests for practice.
