What I was surprised at yesterday was that the lady who was doing our appointment told me that each application is different - which is why what documents they want is different.  It was almost as if they had actually read our on line form and so were only requesting evidence they thought necessary.  Of course, that is probably a delusion.

I think it's more that when you fill out the online form, it generates a corresponding list of documents based on your answers... and then they read off the list when you get to the appointment.

Whether that list is correct or not, I'm not sure though!

Yes, Ksand24 you are right of course, it is just a generated list.  I was just fantasising that someone had actually read the on line form and was interested in us as human beings.  Dream on.

The advice on this Forum is absolutely invaluable.  If the advice is to prepare specific evidence, then that is what you do, whether or not it is required on the day.

Yep - always better to take more than needed to the appointment, then you will have it available if they want it, than to not have something vital with you.
