Tax Preparer for US Tax Returns and PFIC

Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations for tax preparers for my US 2019 tax return. I have a residual PFIC which I tried to close before the end of 2018. Looking for someone competent but not outrageously expensive. My preparer last year gave me a quote which I accepted, then tried to charge 70% more.  Tax preparers seem to believe that all Americans are high net worth - alas, not me.  I’ve also noticed that there are PFIC calculator companies advertising. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Send e a PM I can recommend someone very reasonable and competent and got me out of a huge mess. Are you sure you need to PFIC?
