ILR Online Application Question
« on: August 11, 2020, 10:44:13 AM »
Hello all. I am trying to get things organised for my ILR application coming up in a few months. I am currently on the Leave to Remain, Five year partner route.

Here is my timeline

Entered the UK on Fiance Visa: 24 September 2015
Married in the UK: 28 November 2015
First FLR(M) Approved: 3 December 2015
Second FLR(M) Approved: 8 May 2015
Passed Life in the UK test: 27 June 2020

First question: If I want to register and begin filling out my online application now, is that okay to do? Without paying and submitting of course.

Second question: As my current BRP expires on 4 December of this year, am I correct in thinking we can apply beginning on 6 November? (28 days before expiry date.)

Thanks.

You should be able to, as long as you keep saving it, though you might need to check how long it will stay active in the system, because you don't want to log in one day to find it's been deleted. I think it stays active for 120 days (4 months), so you should be okay.

Yes, that's correct.
