submitted and paid wrong form and fee HELP
« on: June 22, 2020, 12:04:45 PM »
Well I pulled the trigger yesterday and submitted and paid for what I thought was my FLR(M) application. I thought the fee was wrong when I paid it but it didn't really ping in my head until this this morning that I was never asked to pay the NHS surcharge. After extensive googling this morning I am not in the midst of a panic attack as I am 99% positive I have royally screwed up.
Due to family issues my brain has not fully been engaged (started the application around the same time as my father in law passing.). Pretty sure I have paid for and submitted ILR(M) which I am only halfway to...
Now I don't know what to do....

Do you have the link you used?
If you have submitted the wrong application, you can withdraw it and reapply. It may be some time before you get your refund though.
SET(M) is the form used to apply for ILR.

"Do you currently have an application with the Home Office for leave to remain for which you have not yet received a decision? (Required)
If you have submitted any other applications to the Home Office which have not yet been decided then submitting this application varies those previous applications. This means that only this application, which you are now completing, will now be considered.

Yes

No
Provide the reference number for this other application
Add another application reference number?"

Looking at the correct application.....the above is one of the first questions....in theory could I tick yes, add the reference number and then they apply the fee too the correct app? or best to withdraw and start over? ....and then try to explain to the husband how stupid I really am...

How much did you pay for the visa application you submitted?

ILR is about £2,400 (with the biometrics fee)

FLR(M) is about £1,053 (with the biometrics fee)

It was definitely the wrong one...£2408.20 (finally worked out that that is the ILR + biometrics this morning)
