Passport stamp with wrong year

Hi all,

I just now noticed that the UK immigration officer at the Chunnel in Coquelles stamped my passport with a May 2020 return date...last year. The day and month is correct and corresponds with our return from France last year in May 2019. But I haven't left the UK at all this year (and certainly not in May in the midst of Covid-19). There is also no entry stamp that corresponds with that trip last year.

I have to disclose my dates out of the country and I hope this won't be a problem as the dates that I put on the application for that trip won't jive with the actual passport stamp. Will they believe me? Is this going to be a problem? Anyone else have this happen to them?

The safest thing to do is explain it in your application, as you have done here. These things happen all the time, it should not be a problem.
