Has anybody had any recent (Post COVID) experience on the options for transporting pets from the US to the UK?
We have two cats and are looking on flights to the UK in early June. We already started the procedure for their cat passports. We book our flights this week.
I was wondering with regard to doing it all yourself vs hiring a company (we looked at Airpets) what are the things you should know. I understand you must have an import agent in the UK, but is it possible to book a flights with British Airways and then contact the airline to add the cats as cargo?
Most info seems to lead you towards a professional company.
