- Letter from GP/school dated in last 3 months confirming daughter's address*to add to this, I have an application question. The question asking how long I've lived in the UK, I am not sure what to put. I entered the UK on 24/10/15, so that would be 4 years, 11 months. I know about the 28 day rule. Do I put 4 years, 11 months? Or 5 years?
You put 4 years and 11 months... because that is how long you have lived in the UK. If you put 5 years, that would be a lie.
