Travelled to UK while Fiancé application was pending
« on: November 17, 2020, 11:35:32 AM »
Hi All,

I’ve just been granted a fiancé visa. I am a dual citizen. My visa is tied to my other passport (Not US). While the visa application was pending, I had to travel to the UK for 3 days. I used my US passport to enter, through the e-gates, and exit the UK. I had no issues going in/out of the country.

Is my entry to the UK, while the visa application was pending going to cause me problems when I apply for spouse visa?

Kind regards,

Did you include the details of your second passport on the application? It could have voided the application. But if they granted the visa while being aware of the entry it hopefully won't cause you issues, be sure to declare it on all future applications where they ask about travel history. You may want to consult with a lawyer to be sure.

Yes, I have the US passport details in the visa application. But the visa is on the other passport.

So I can’t use this visa now?
