Change of Address

Hi All,

I am here on a spousal visa with a BRP about to apply for my FLR(M) in March. We bought a house last year in October, and I recently read somewhere on here that I need to let the UKVI know of my address change. I cannot find that post now, so I am not sure if that is the case or if I misunderstood.

We moved recently and I sent the form in by mail as it states on the website.

I got a letter back that they needed proof of new address and to do it through the web with a link.

Supposedly, I could have done it on the web initially but I didn't see that anywhere on the UKVI website.
It also didn't state they needed proof of the new address on the form.

Most people have been fine using the online form to notify UKVI of their change of address, though the website still says to mail the paper form if you have a BRP.
