My wife and I are Brits who left the UK for Seattle, USA in 1995 on an H1B visa, becoming permanent residents around 1998, then US citizens in 2008. Both of our adult kids are US citizens too, one by birth, thge other by naturalization. They now live in the UK. Due to care challenges with our elderly parents, as well as other family interests, we are considering a permanent return to the UK for retirement in the next 2-3 years.
We have come to learn how incredibly complex this process could be if we are not careful. We are looking forward to learning from your many years of collective experience so that, hopefully, we learn from your mistakes and successes.
