The cool bit is that it's not the whole clock, just the day. All that old stuff (can you tell I've forgotten everything? ) happened around breakfast, and 2000 is eight o'clock. Women got the right to vote just after the Archers is finished on Radio 4. Then more voting stuff happened after the 7:30 news, as did Ireland something or other. I used to know all this stuff.
Ha - it's a very good idea. And yes I realised a clock face would not work for 24 hours anyway!
Beth has her test tomorrow morning and has been passing all the practice tests, so we're hoping she'll pass. I am relieved that having been consistently failing the practice tests despite living here since birth, I am now consistently passing - phew!
Fun fact, of the 15 National Parks (yes there are 15 national parks for anyone about to take the test), I discovered the newest is the South Downs National Park which surrounds us where we live and is celebrating its 10 year anniversary of becoming a National Park. In a random kind of way, some of the handbook is quite (UK rather than US 'quite' here) interesting.
