Hi guys hope everybody is well, I am almost finished compiling my ILR documents just had one issue today, I have received my Barclays Bank statements from August 2020 - February 2021 (March 2021 will be available online from 24/03/2021 and they will send that in the post) when I asked them to send in the post, they sent them today but they we not stamped or say Certified?

Do we still need to have them stamped or has the rules changed now due to Covid? Ive asked them to resend again but unsure if they will be stamped or certified!

If they are being sent in the post they DO NOT need to be stamped or certified, and they never have needed to be stamped (it has nothing to do with Covid), because they are considered official copies issued by the bank. So, there is no need for the bank to resend them.

The ONLY time that bank statements need to be stamped is if you have printed them at home from your online banking. You then have to take the statements into your local bank branch in person and ask them to either stamp every single page or write a letter, to verify that they are genuine and that you did not forge or tamper with them before printing them.

Can anybody advise if I need to change anything for my Checklist for ILR. I think it looks pretty decent and covers all the documents needed I guess?

Good Morning All

I am just about to start sending my wife's ILR application online and just have one last question

Does my daughters passport need to have all the pages scanned as-well? I thought the main bio page would be okay to use only?

@ksand24 Could you have check if my final ILR checklist looks decent or if I need to change things for it? Would greatly appreciate it.

For the scanning I downloaded Adobe for my IPhone and scanned away from my phone, its so convenient and so much easier to use. The final sizes for passports its like 1.5MB after decompressing it from 6.1MB. Would recommend using this!

As far as I am aware, every single page of every passport you are including needs to be scanned.

Most of your documents look good, but your correspondence documents do not meet the requirements.

For ILR, you have to cover the last 2.5 years, with 1 document in each name spaced evenly, every 5 months, from at least 3 different sources. If the documents are separately-addressed they must be dated in the same month as each other, as close together as possible.

So, you need 1 document in each name from each of the following months:
September 2018
February 2019
July 2019
December 2019
May 2020
October 2020
March 2021

But you only have (missing documents in red, suitable documents in blue):

September 2018
1. Applicant: ?
1. Sponsor: ?

February 2019
2. Applicant: ?
2. Sponsor: ?

July 2019
3. Applicant: ?
3. Sponsor: Child Benefit Letter (Source 1)

December 2019
4. Applicant: ?
4. Sponsor: ?

May 2020
5. Applicant: ?
5. Sponsor: ?

October 2020
6. Applicant: ?
6. Sponsor: ?

March 2021
7. Applicant: ?
7. Sponsor: BT cancel letter (Source 2)

So, you're missing all 7 applicant documents and 5 of the 7 sponsor documents.

I suppose, instead you could shift the months slightly and cover from August 2018 to February 2021, which would give you the following suitable documents:

August 2018
1. Applicant: ?
1. Sponsor: ?

January 2019
2. Applicant: Maternity Letter NHS (Source 1)
2. Sponsor: ?

June 2019
3. Applicant: ?
3. Sponsor: ?

November 2019
4. Applicant: ?
4. Sponsor:  claim letter accident - Tesco Insurance (Source 2)

April 2020
5. Applicant: ?
5. Sponsor:  Invoice from Screw fix (Source 3 - though not sure if this is acceptable as it's not an official source)

September 2020
6. Joint:  Letter clinic appointment

February 2021
7. Applicant: Invoice copy (Source 4 - again, not sure if this is acceptable... what is it an invoice for?)
7. Sponsor: ?

But that still only gives you 3 of 7 applicant documents and 3 of 7 sponsor documents.

If you really cannot provide any other documents from the above sets of months, you will have to write a letter explaining why you do not have evenly-spaced documents, and why some of the documents are missing.

Thank you for replying back really appreciate it, I have scanned my daughters full passport.

In terms of the cohabitation letters I have looked into the advice you have mentioned and have managed to change things around and will use the following documents:-

August 2018
1. Applicant: -  Hospital appointment letter NHS
1. Sponsor: - o2 Phone Bill statement

January 2019
2. Applicant: Maternity Letter NHS (Source 1)
2. Sponsor:  Argos Card statement

June / July 2019
3. Applicant / Sponsor -  NHS clinic appointment (Joint) (June)
3. Sponsor:  Child Benefit Letter (July 2019)

November 2019
4. Applicant / Sponsor - Natwest Bank Statement (Joint)

April 2020
5. Applicant: Blood Test Appointment
5. Sponsor:  Salary increase letter from Employer

September 2020
6. Joint:  Letter clinic appointment

February 2021
7. Applicant: Invoice copy (Source 4 - again, not sure if this is acceptable... what is it an invoice for?) - It was from a purchase from Ebay
7. Sponsor: - Sky Mobile Bill statement

How does this list look? Hopefully should be okay, Me and my wife don't have a-lot of correspondences as parents pay most utility bills. Ive mentioned this in the accommodation letter my parents have written.

@ksand24 could you have a check for the updated cohabitation list I’ve posted above if that is any better.

Also just a quick question could I also add a council tax for my dad as part of evidence for accommodation? As we live mortgage free in the house or is that not necessary?
