Sopra Steria Advice (UKVCAS)
« on: February 19, 2022, 12:45:58 PM »
Hi all,

I'm in the process of submitting documents. I have some questions I'd appreciate urgent help on.

1) It says to upload in B&W. Is this okay? Is it okay to submit in colour? Seems wrong to be in B&W.
2) When scanning things such as passport does this mean scanning each page or bio page?
3) The application is for a spouse of a British citizen. On the upload page it says mandatory documents are 'proof of application' which then expands to say the passport. Why is this the only mandatory document? Things such as BRP, spouse passport etc are also required, surely?
Feb 2014 - Married
29/04/2014 - Spouse Application Approved
02/05/2014 - Visa Received
09/01/2017 - FLR(M) Granted
22/07/2019 - ILR Granted
05/05/2022 - Citizenship

1- If that's what it says, that's what I'd do.

2- I'd scan every page.

3- It'll be like the visa applications, their lists are not complete either. Provide what you know you need to.

Larrabee is right on all counts :) that said we did do our scans in colour. The suggestion is there I believe to attempt to reduce filesize.

(Note: our application was successful despite the colour documents :) - the whole saga of ours was over here and under the same system in case it helps - https://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=98658.0 )
