Hello Everyone!

  • I’m a US Citizen and my wife holds both US and British Citizenship
  • We currently live in the US but plan on moving to the UK soon.
  • While in the US we adopted children internationally.
  • These children were naturalized in the US and hold US citizenship.

Question: Since my wife has British Citizenship, would we be able to newcomer link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-on-how-adopted-children-can-become-british/intercountry-adoption-and-british-citizenship [nonactive] ( newcomer link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/register-child-under-18-as-british-citizen-form-mn1 [nonactive] ) or would we have to apply for them under a newcomer link: https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/child [nonactive] ?

Thanks for your help!
