I’m hoping that someone can help provide a bit of clarity regarding the financial requirements for a spouse visa.
My wife (dual US/UK citizen) is employed by a US based international humanitarian aid organization with no UK branch. They have said that they will continue to employ her after our move and can provide any documentation and letters needed. I am seeing information that, since they are not a UK company, or have no UK entity, that her income will not count toward meeting the financial requirement for my visa. Is that correct?
Fortunately, it looks like we may be able to swing the cash savings route after our house sale.
This is probably much simpler, but we just wanted to try and keep all options open.
Any help would be appreciated.
