lack of mail for ILR application
« on: June 22, 2022, 10:45:00 AM »
Hi Everyone,
Cant believe I am back and saying this, but we will be applying for my ILR at the end of august before my visa expires in September.

I think I am clear on all docs needed, but I am worried about the mail issue. Due to covid and me being high risk, we moved most things to postless during that time. I have council tax bills, 2 bank accounts in both of our names, leases for the entire time since last application, but not much else. Is this going to be an issue?

Is it really around 6 months for non priority at the moment? Really trying to decide if the 800 is worth it. We werent planning to travel until January, but now starting to think that's a gamble?

You only need mail from three sources so start with the council tax and leases and fill in the gaps with your bank statements.

I'd recommend going priority if you can afford it. Sooner you get done with ILR, the sooner you can move on with your life and apply for citizenship.

Ok, see what you have. If you still don't have enough mail you'll have to write a letter explaining why not and include it with your application.
