Despite the security lengths this site adheres to, how can we be sure the IRS or HMRC does not monitor this site.  Very sophisticated spying equipment exists and would proove to be benificial to a government for catching out tax dodgers.

I believe the immigration folks do monitor the larger immigration forums looking out for visa fraud, so maybe they do too.

There's another string in the governments' bow. It would be helpful if our Moderators could add their comment.

In conjunction with the other threads you have started I think your paranoia can’t be good for your health as you believe the whole country is out to get you.

Chill out.

One flaw in your theory is that nobody is dodging taxes here that I can think of.

How could you or anyone else for that matter know who is or  is not tax dodging? (possibly excluding HMRC or IRS)

I’m sure he is just joking. How could we know on this anonymous forum that anyone is anything they say they are. I assume that when you asked the question about if the IRS and HMRC were tracking you on this site that you were just “asking for a friend”.

We see a lot of Accidental Americans and many others who have moved here not realising they are still on the hook to file US taxes. None of it wilful dodging.
We have a tax forum here https://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?board=11.0. where the good folks who reply are often called on to advise how to get back on track.
