I can add to the thread today!

I tried exactly at 1 am too and successfully got the super priority option. Never been so happy to spend £3200 in my life. I waited to book a Biometrics this morning to see if any new cancellations popped up because I'm really in a little bit of a rush to get it done.

I am in Glasgow - as of last night on biometrics site, nothing available for 'standard' (not even free standard but £132 standard) available in Glasgow until 4 of Aug, even later for Edinburgh and 3rd of Aug for Aberdeen. I wrote a bunch down in case it helps anyone....Liverpool had a 22 of July - Manchester seemed to have £199 'Flexible' appts where you can go between 9-12 available starting around 22 July. Belfast (wasn't going to attempt all that but was 28 of July) - Newcastle was well out, and Leeds was similar to Liverpool timing. This was about how far I was willing to drive.

So I slept on it.
Woke up and was going to start refreshing Biometrics appt screen at 9am (I have heard this is when new appts are released) but logged in by chance at 8:15 am to have a glance around and someone must've cancelled an Aberdeen appt for TOMORROW so I grabbed it and paid for document scanning because I won't have a chance to do it myself (with the 48 hour rule) - so YIKES. I'm going tomorrow! (Another £180 down the drain haha)

Any tips for those who did document scanning? I have it all, just want to have it all perfectly organised and minimise my own stress.  ???

Happy to report the appointment went smoothly!

She scanned everything I gave her but explained she was leaving some of the middle pages out of longer documents like my insurance mail and my full lease as they just need first and signature pages. Made sense to me.

She also just used my current passport and said because my first entry 5 years ago was on it that was all she needed

I got my approval email from Home Office during my 3 hour drive home!

Bonus - Found a DELICIOUS BBQ restaurant in Aberdeen called Maggie’s Grill!
