How long are ILR applications taking and priority route

We were just about to send off my husbands ILR application last night to find no priority option! Have seen many many months ago people have said they are appearing in the early hours of the morning.

Has anyone recently had success with this?

Additionally, I know the gov website says 6 months for the standard postal application, but does anyone have more specific wait times people have experienced? I know in the past groups have kept track of current wait times.

We are supposed to be going to his best friend's wedding in October and sisters wedding in January, and his grandmother isn't well. It's safe to say my husband is beside himself at the thought of being trapped in the UK for the next 6 months!

I think standard applications are taking about 4 months at the moment. Nothing is postal now though.

For priority, try at 1am which is when the slots are released. Good luck.

Do priority.  Others have said to write down ideal dates, times, and locations you are willing to travel to prior to the release of appointments, as they start disappearing quickly.  If you log on at 1am, you’ll snag a spot.

It might take a couple of days to snag a super priority spot.  We applied for ILR last week and there were no spots near us (Scotland) on the Thursday and Friday that week but we were happily surprised to get  a spot on Saturday morning.  We also managed to get a free appointment a couple of weeks from the date we applied although there were very few free ones.  So now we just have to upload our documents, show up, and keep our fingers crossed.  Good luck.

We got a slot at 03:15, then a free bio appt in Exeter a few days later, result was through 2.5 hrs after appt. This was about 2-3 weeks ago.

There are two distinct and separate parts to this.

Super Priority slots are released at 1am. This is the most difficult bit to get.

Biomertrics bookings locations are added at 9am for 28 days time but if you are willing to travel there will be appointments sooner.  There are some variables here.

We booked our Super Priority slot at 1am.  We didnt want to travel a huge distance like Croydon or Bath which were available in the following few days.
At 9am the following day the Biometrics appointments are opened for 28 days time so we booked Southampton for 28 days time as soon as it opened up. Choice of appointments etc.

I was able to get a super priority service booked just after 1 am while submitting my application for ILR. The decision email came on the afternoon of the same day as my biometric appointment.
