Guinea Pig. USA to UK.
All I can find online is that she'd be subject to a 4 month quarantine*, and we'd have to use a pet shipper, if we were to try to fly her directly to the UK. And she'd have to be rabies vaccinated (? I don't think they have rabies vaccines for guinea pigs) and microchipped or tattooed.
Alternatively, it appears that if we get her to Ireland to live for a while, or another EU country, we could bring her over by car or ferry (as appropriate). Not sure about the use of a pet shipper to IE, but it appears doable without one to France.
Not really ideal to try to fly her, as the stress could kill her. I know the QMII has dog kennels, but I don't think they'd take a caged pet.
Anyone tried to do this?
