Diplomatic, not so much

Headline in our local rag:    "Free online classes offered for old New Yorkers"

"Free online classes are available for old New Yorkers through the state’s Office for the Aging...."

No "Senior Citizens", no "pensioners", no "elderly citizens",  no other euphemisms...  just HEY OLD PEOPLE.....  

Yep. Some of the stereotypes ring true, for sure!
