ILR questions before submitting
« on: December 26, 2022, 01:48:34 PM »
Hi all, hope you're enjoying boxing day festivities [smiley=party3.gif] [smiley=elf.gif] and not stressing about the visa like we are.  [smiley=bigcry.gif]

We're applying for the ILR now and under the Personal information section of the application, there is a question that asks "How long have you lived in the UK?"
We're going to put down 5 years and 2 months/1 October 2017,  because that's the length of time when I started living in the UK under my first visa (fiancée visa). Is this the correct way to go?

Also, my first FLR visa was valid from 17 January 2018. I assume I'm good to apply anytime from now for ILR under the 28 day rule? Just to triple check. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

From reading everyone's posts, applying at midnight in the winter seems the best to get super priority slots? Oh boy. If this is wrong, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!! [smiley=antlers.gif]

1- I'd probably go with that.

2- Correct.

Yes, midnight when we're not on summer time but some people have been lucky at other times lately.  Perhaps not so many  people paying for priority at the moment?
