UK Facebook Marketplace in Kilometers

It seems that the United Kingdom's marketplace settings are in kilometers, rather than miles, as I've tested this with a few people. Since like the US, the UK uses miles, why has FB put kms for the UK marketplace results? If possible, can I change it? I've googled and searched every setting and can't find a way.

  Sorry man, I don't use Facebook.  I do use kilometers almost interchangeably with miles and would probobly just learn to live with it if it were me.  Good luck though.
