ILR - Expired passports and accommodation q’s
« on: July 11, 2023, 11:39:05 AM »
Hi again friends, I’m preparing to apply for ILR in September. I’ve just realised that my kids’ UK passports are expired and I need to submit them. Do I have to renew them first? I know I probably do lol but I’m hoping since they’re kids and not applicants it might be ok. Just one more thing to get done in a hurry and expense I’d love to avoid.

Accommodation: We bought a house but lenders didn’t like my immigration status so it’s in my husband’s name only. What do I need? Is it land registry document and a letter from him stating I can live here?

Thanks in advance 😊

FLR (M) Timeline:
Submitted Application Online: 14/10/20
Biometrics Appointment/Document Scanned: 13/11/20
Received Decision: 8/3/21 - APPROVED

ILR Timeline:

It's a given that he permits you to stay there as he's sponsoring your visa so you don't need a letter from him. You do need land registry document, most recent mortgage statement and council tax bill.
