We have our March 2022 bill as our joint correspondence for that month - though we can swap it out if needed as we have 3 others each across the 2 years (Joint Gas/Electric, 2 x different credit cards bills for me and phone bill and bank account statement for my husband).

I have called the council and requested both an email copy and a new paper copy so hopefully that will come through.

On the subject of other correspondence - my husbands bank account statement is for his US Wells Fargo account - that isn't an issue is it?

It's fine to use the WFB account.  Off topic but WFB are no longer allowing non US residents to hold accounts with them. How did your husband manage to keep his?

Ok great - hopefully the 2023 CT email will come through today. Will I need to do a cover letter to explain why it's not a postal version or does it not matter?

RE the WF account- I believe he switched the actual account address to his dad's house but asked them to put the correspondence one as our UK address.
Not sure if that was against their rules but they did it quite happily at the time!

I think I'd probably not bother.

Ok thanks for all your advice.

One further thing - upon collecting my a print out of my bank statements this morning from Halifax I've noticed that the print outs don't have any identifying features other than a statement in the corner saying "this statement was print in branch .... on 01 august 2023 at 09:15am" or something - is this official enough or do I need to go back and get it stamped or something?

Pretty sure I used a bank printout last time but I can't remember if there was any code or something printed that made it seem more official without requiring a stamp?

Thanks

That's fine.

It's considered official and does not need to be stamped.

Uploaded everything last night and managed to book an appointment for his Biometrics on this coming Saturday.

How does the approval work - as this will be 20 days before the end of his current BRP (exp 25/08/23) and if they happen to approve his renewal very quickly - will the new one be dated from 26/08/23 by default or could it be an earlier date than that?

if so, could that cause issues at the end of this renewed FLR(M) period as we'd be looking to switch him to Indefinite leave at that stage as it will have been 5 years but it could technically  be just under 5 years total and he'd have to do a further visa for 2.5 year before applying for ILR - does that make any sense?

Or am I worrying about nothing ?

Thanks
