Did I completely mess up my ILR Application??
« on: August 20, 2023, 05:53:05 AM »
Hello all, I am just panicking yet again about my ILR application (SET(M) 5-year route)  which was submitted in June with biometrics completed in July…. I’ve just realised that I don’t think I included my children (both born in the U.K. and U.K. citizens between my last application and this one) on my application. Will my ILR be refused on this basis?! Is is possible they will just ask for more info?? All v ironic because I submitted my application 1 month postpartum with  my 2nd….

Thanks for you help!

Also just to add I did not include their birth certificates in my documents either but my final pay slip that I included indicates that I have SMP pay.

Hi there, absolutely no need to panic!   It is unlikely you will be refused based on a mistake.

Two kids under 3 is enough to make anyone forget something!

For good order, I would write a letter and submit it, with Birth Certs explaining you forgot to add them.  UKVI are reasonable people - if you fulfil the criteria, which you do,  you will get the visa. They are not going to penalise you for a small error made in good faith.

Good luck.
