Ex-Pat Counselling
« on: August 21, 2023, 11:43:02 AM »
Hello All,

I am aware as per the rules of the forum that we get one business post, so here we go!

I was a long-time lurker on this site before becoming a member all throughout my immigration process from 2012-2018. Since then I have retrained as a CBT therapist with an integrated approach to counselling. Ex-pats are part of my specialization in my practice and I wanted to place a post here for anyone who might be looking to talk to someone about things that come up. Feeling out of place. Not quite adjusting, having that general sense of otherness, and dealing with the WEATHER. All of the things that we go through moving across the ocean can sometimes be too much, and I wanted to offer this forum ( a place that honestly kept me going over the years) an outlet for their mental health.

Although my pricing for online sessions is set at £50 an hour, I'm happy to negotiate a sliding scale for anyone who comes from the forum, as a genuine thank you for all the support I've found here. Just quote UKYANK in your enquiry.

Hope this finds you all well, but if it doesn't, Lets talk.

-Michael

Thanks for posting, that's a good resource to have on this board.
