ILR Document Upload - Part One/Two Consent
« on: October 02, 2023, 12:12:03 PM »
Hi,

I'm prepping the documents to upload to the UKVCAS website and I can't see a clear place to upload the Part One and Part Two Consent forms.

Would these just go in the section "If you have more documents that you think may help support your application, upload them here." ?

If not where do these go? I believe that they are necessary.

Many thanks in advance

Ben

We did our ILR application the week before last and we were not required to submit any consent forms.  They didn’t appear at any stage during the online application.  But I do remember having to do this for Further Leave To Remain.

But, for ILR, there was only the Sponsor Declaration that I had to print out and sign, then upload to the dedicated bucket on the UKVCAS site.

I guess if your application went down a different series of responses to ours and you were asked to print out and sign the two consent forms, then the ‘other documents’ folder on the UKVCAS site is probably the right place.  We uploaded our marriage certificate and Life In the UK pass result email in there, not that we were asked to, but just in case - they probably didn’t add anything to the application.

Regards,

Tim

Thanks Tim,

To be fair, the two consent forms were on a document checklist that someone who has been through the process shared with us.

I think i'll add them in the other documents as a just in case.

Thanks for your response, much appreciated.

I believe the consent to checks forms are only required for FLR applications and not for ILR.

If you were not asked to fill them out when you completed the online application, then they are not required and should not be included.
