ILR Application
« on: July 30, 2023, 04:26:56 PM »
Hello, I am coming up on 5 years here in Sept and my BRP expires January 2024.
I am unsure of the financial requirements and what needs to be provided. I'm a bit worried as my husband has just changed employer a few weeks ago. Will this cause problems?
Many thanks

As long as both are above the income requirements it won't cause a problem, just make sure he has the paystubs for the previous job. It will be category B if they won't be with their current employer for 6 months when you apply for the visa.

I am hoping to get some clarification. Applying via the category B (with employer less than 6 months) I would need to provide 12 months of payslips and bank statements? And would I need to provide an employer letter from all employers who the payslips were from or only a letter from current employer?

For background, my husband has met the financial requirements for the entire year regardless of job changes, however has ad three separate employers in the last 12 months. It may prove difficult to obtain the letter from the previous employers to validate the payslips.

Hello, hopefully someone can advise me today as we need to get this sent off.
In regards to the finance section of the application, in response to the question: what was their annual income before tax for this employment in GBP? Do I  answer what it was for the total of months worked at that job which was less than a year. Or do i put what the annual salary was for the job? And when one of the jobs was over two calendar years, how would that be calculated?
Also if one employer has not replied to the email requesting a letter of verification would I just provide the contract and a letter if explanation?
Many thanks!
