Hi there,
Would someone be able to check our list before we submit my husband's documents?
We have already submitted the online application (3rd Oct) and booked an appointment for 13th Nov. As I understand it, we don’t have to submit the documents until 48 hours before the appointment but we would like to get these in next week if possible. Is anyone able to confirm that these documents need to be dated within 28 days of when we submitted the online application? Rather than 28 days from submission of the documents or the in-person appointment? I’ve included the dates of each document in the list below.
Proof of Application - Applicant's passport
- Signed sponsor's declaration/consent form
Other - Life in the UK Test – code submitted during application
Residence in the UK - Correspondence evidence – is the spacing correct?
12 Mar 2021 – Council Tax bill – Both
19 Aug 2021 – Council Tax bill – Both
24 Jan 2022 – Utility Bill – Both (the Applicant’s name is incorrectly spelled on this bill so can submit a Pension later dated 28 Jan 2022 in his name as an alternative)
20 Jun 2022 – Bank Statement – Both
20 Nov 2022 – Bank Statement – Both
20 April 2023 – Bank Statement – Both OR 1 April 2023 Utility Bill – Both (names spelled correctly!)
20 September 2023 – Bank Statement – Both OR 11 Sept 2023 Council Childcare Letter – Sponsor AND 27 Sept 2023 NHS Appointment Letter – Applicant
- Flat Title Deed (property in sponsors name only)
- Latest council tax bill – we have the annual statement dated March 2023 that lists all the payment dates up to 15/10/2023 - is that suitable or should we try and get a recent statement?
- Latest mortgage statement (the mortgage is in the sponsors name only) - dated 2 May 2023 – I have applied for a ‘Certificate of Interest’ and waiting for it to arrive but would the statement from May be suitable if there are any issues getting the certificate in time?
- Letter from nursery confirming our child’s address - dated 4 October 2023
Finances (based on applicant employment income) - 7 months of payslips – see dates below
