Just received my ILR but it says its valid until Dec 2024 ?

So I just received my ILR card in the post today from the home office my time line seems way to short as I only submitted my application in July and my Biometrics in Sept .

The thing concerning me is it says valid till 31-12-2024 ?

It does say iNDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN on the card under status .

is this normal ? could this be a mistake ?  or do I have to reapply in a year ?

Does anyone have any insight on this ?

It's normal. All ILR BRP's issued within the last few years expire on that date as the records will then be digital.

You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but your immigration status (for example, your visa) allows you to stay longer.

You will not need a BRP from 1 January 2025. You’ll be able to prove your immigration status online, without a BRP.

UKVI will update their information on how to prove your immigration status in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected."
