Application Form Error - Middle Name
« on: November 09, 2023, 11:12:42 AM »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has ever been in this situation before or had any advice! My husband sent off his application for FLRM Extension and has forgot to put our middle names, so it just has his first and last name and mine too… is there anything we can do? Biometrics are in 3 weeks time and he was going to mention it there and write a cover letter.

Thank you! :(

I forgot to enter my middle name on my FLR (M) application. I just wrote up a cover letter, signed it, and uploaded it with my documents. I also took it to the biometrics appointment in case it didn't get properly uploaded. I made sure to mention my error at my biometrics as well, to be sure all bases were covered.

I did end up having my BRP arrive without my middle name so I had to get a correction made on it. I had no issues, just had to wait for a replacement BRP. I don't think it held up my application either. I also had no issues obtaining subsequent ILR, citizenship, and passport.

Best of luck!

I’m so glad it’s not just us! Thank you so much. Biometrics are this week so I’ll get my husband to take the letter along aswell! I’m so pleased everything was okay for you and a massive congrats on your citizenship!!!
