JISAs for dual citizen children
« on: March 13, 2025, 09:34:12 AM »
Hello,

Wondering about the US tax implications for my dual citizen daughter if I were to open a Junior ISA for her? I know that they are tax free in the UK, but suspect that means they are treated as income by the IRS?

We've got a savings accounts for her, but keen to maximise returns over the years! Balanced by not screwing her over with the IRS in the process...

Any advice appreciated!
