Indefinite leave to remain

Hello,

Mine and my daughter's indefinite leave to remain says it expires December 31, 2024. I have tried to research how this is renewed and it seems to indicate that we need to register on a gov website and then this is now an e-visa where it can be accessed by an employer for example via a share code and we won't be getting an actual physical card?

I would really appreciate if anyone has information around this as I am finding it very confusing at the moment.

Hi, do you mean that you and your daughter already have ILR, and your biometric residence permits expire on December 31?

The biometric residence permits are being replaced with the evisa, which is an electronic system instead of the physical card you have now.

If you have a biometric residence permit (BRP) that expires on 31 December 2024, you can now create a UKVI account and access your eVisa. You should do this before the expiry date of your BRP. You should continue to carry your BRP with you when you travel internationally until it expires."
