UK Defined Benefit Pension - Form 1116
« on: September 17, 2024, 01:03:32 PM »
I am now receiving my NHS and Teachers Pensions and need to report them on IRS tax returns.
I understand I need to use form 1116 - but it makes no sense to me! I've looked for examples to follow,  but can't find anything related to defined benefit pensions which are more like income.
Does anyone have experience of completing Form 1116 for defined benefit pension(s) or can anyone recommend an accountant who can file for us?
Many thanks.

Used one of the suggestions and taxes filed within 24 hours!
I pay tax at source to HMRC on my pensions but Form 1116 is still a complete mystery to me!!
$495 was well worth paying .
