Hi all
« on: January 20, 2005, 09:37:59 AM »
Hi all we're Martin and Pamela with baby gabriel(7 months). we live here in Manchester and it's been quite a ride since we arrived but luckly we have settled down and now living a nice life. it's been 2 years now since we've arrived, although sucking in the British culture we still do (like many here) miss our US simple things in life, Aunt Jemaima Syrup and a bit more. Hope we get to know some of you better in the forums and who knows maybe meet some of you. so i'll be the first to welcome myself to the forums ha ha.

Cheers

Hi Martin, Pamela & Gabriel welcome to UK Yankee. Glad you are settling in well. I don't know about Manchester but there are lots of places down here (London) that sell Aunt Jemimas products and lots more and some of them do mail order. There's a sticky  thread at the top of the Food Talk board with details of the shops etc.

Welcome to UKY to all three of you!  I personally don't like Aunt Jemima, but always crave Nilla Wafers so we all have things we miss!

I hope you guys enjoy the site!
