CUKC passport = British Passport???
« on: January 21, 2005, 06:57:13 PM »
Hi all i'm waaaay confused. My mother was born in Monsterrat which is a British colony. She is a naturalized US citizen but can get a Montserrat passport. From what I understand, if you have a Montserrat passport, you can then apply for a full British passport. Now, here's where it gets tricky for me...I was born  while my mother was traveling in Antigua. So, that's what it says on my US Passport. Antigua was at one point a British colony. But, no more...but my mother tells me that because she was born in a British colony (Montserrat) that I'm entitled to a CUCK passport. Anyone know if this is fact or fiction? She SWEARS its true...Please help!  :)

I think this is the bit of the Immigration policy that applies:

It's very long but the answer will be in there somewhere. Sorry I don't have time to sift through it myself right now.
